    If the beneficiary buys medicines without a prescription from the attending physician provided by the Central Assistance Services, can you submit these costs to reimbursement study?
    • No, these costs will not be reimbursed. Only medications that have been prescribed by a medical professional will be reimbursed, as long as it is not for the treatment of pre-existing conditions. Medicines that do not have any type of relationship with the medical assistance provided, as prescribed, will not be covered.

    What are the documents that the beneficiary must present for lost luggage that was under the supervision of an airline?
    • The beneficiary must submit the Form P.I.R (Property Irregularity Report) and original copy of the airline compensation receipt.
  • 3.
    What are the justified causes for canceling a contracted trip?
    • The death, accident or serious illness of the beneficiary or family member in the first degree of consanguinity (spouse, siblings, children or parents) the summons as part of witness or jury of a court, damage by fire or theft or robbery or force of nature, and medical quarantine. Please consult the General Conditions for complete information on this benefit.

    What type of legal assistance for traffic accidents does the Central Assistance Services offer to the beneficiary?
    • This benefit covers expenses incurred by the civil or criminal defense of the beneficiary for the purpose of the imputation or exemption of liability for a traffic accident.
  • 5.
    If the beneficiary wishes to be repatriated but the Assistance Services Center has not given authorization, can the beneficiary do so on his own and request reimbursement of these costs once he is back in his country of origin?
    • No, all repatriation costs must be authorized directly by the Assistance Services Center according to the patient's medical condition.

    If the beneficiary communicates to report an accident and the assistance plan has expired, is the service provided?
    • The service will be coordinated at the request of the Beneficiary, but all costs must be covered by it.
  • 7.
    What is the period of time that the benefits indicated in the vouchers can be obtained?
    • The period of validity is understood as the period of time during which the benefits indicated in the voucher can be obtained, which is the one that runs from 00:00 hours on the date of departure abroad from the country of permanent residence, until 23 : 59 hours from the return date indicated on the voucher.

    When does the delayed or canceled flight cost apply and what does it cover?
    • It applies if the beneficiary's flight is delayed for more than 6 consecutive hours to the one originally scheduled, and when there is no other transportation alternative. It will be reimbursed until the coverage limit in hotel expenses, meals and communications during the waiting period.

    In which cases is the health repatriation / transfer benefit applicable?
    • In the event that the medical team of the Central Assistance Service considers it absolutely necessary, provided that the motivation thereof is not a pre-existing medical condition.
